Summer Worship Series: The Power of Seeds (June 11-July 30).

This is the season of the year for planting and growing gardens. Is your garden of faith producing fruit or is it laying dormant? Join us each Sunday as we will be exploring the “The Power of Seeds” that God wants to plant, and grow in your life. Each Sunday you will be invited to plant a seed, water, feed, and weed a plant in the prayer garden and watch it grow for the next 8 weeks. We will have several “Master Gardeners” share their wisdom on getting the most out of your crops. We encourage you to look for the growth in your own life and share the abundance of God’s love with others.

SUMMER CAMP DONATIONS:

Thank you for your prayers and support as we lead 11 summer day camps at Mt. Carmel this summer. Week one (Soccer Camp) went very well with 12 kids enrolled. Some of you are asking about how you can be a part of what is going on. We have some parents who would like to send their kids but have asked for a scholarship. A full tuition is $75 per week. If you would like to donate to this, please make your check out to “Mt. Carmel UMC Children’s Fund.” Second, if you would like to donate snack items for each summer camp, please follow the list on the bulletin board. Note: We can have anywhere from 12-30 kids enrolled in each camp. Call the church office first to get a count and let them know which camp you want to donate items to that week. Third, if you could pray for these kids that as they learn special skills this summer, they also learn about the love of Jesus! We hope to give you a camp update each week in worship so you can rejoice with us at the many kids who come to know Jesus at Mt. Carmel. Thank you for your generosity!
