Pentecost Sunday our Prayer room was dedicated to the glory of God
June 9, 2019
Over a year ago Pastor Mary suggested we have a room, especially for prayer. Prayer warriors Linda McDaniel, Pat Culler, and Joanne Spetz volunteered to take a room that was full of junk and turn it into the beautiful and meaningful, Holy Spirit-filled room. Over the four years, Pastor Mary has been with us, she has conducted a Wednesday morning Bible Study/ Prayer Group. She has taught us with the help of books by leading Christian authorities on the Bible and Prayer that we can pray with confidence that our God will hear us and answer our heartfelt prayers. We are presently studying from Rev. Jim Cymbala’s “Life-Changing Prayer” and going to the Throne of Grace.
I have come to believe that prayer is essential to my life and the life of our church. God hears our prayers. It is so wonderful that we have a savior, we as individuals can go directly to walk and talk with Jesus. It is very special to have other believers to pray with you.
Come see and use our room for you to experience the Holy Spirit in prayerful solitude.
